In Lelystad, the Netherlands, Danish group Bestseller is building a 155,000 m² logistics center incorporating 23,600 m³ of solid wood and over 40,900 m² of straw wall panels.
This extraordinary project demonstrates that bio-sourced materials can meet the demands of XXL logistics.
With fire resistance exceeding two hours, excellent thermal performance and rapid installation, straw is used as a genuine industrial material. Scheduled to open in 2026, the site will accommodate around 600 employees in a low-carbon environment, at the heart of ambitious landscaping.
