The Organization for Biodiversity Certificates (OBC) has taken another step forward with the implementation of its certification framework, developed with Transitions, the Ecocert group's consulting firm.
The aim is to issue the first OBC biodiversity certificates in early 2027, initially for four ecosystems (forests and agriculture, in temperate and tropical zones) and in several pilot countries, including France.
Alongside other committed players, France Valley is contributing to field experiments to test the operational applicability of these biodiversity-friendly practices.
This is an important step towards structuring a credible market for biodiversity certificates and mobilizing more private funding in favor of living things. 🌱
