Last June, France Valley had the privilege of visiting Ateliers Desmonts, experts in carpentry and joinery. On that occasion, we were given an exclusive glimpse of the construction of the Notre-Dame de Paris framework, which was still underway at the time. A number of oaks from our forests, sold or sometimes donated, passed through their hands. Today, we are delighted to see that these frames, including the choir frame, have been successfully rebuilt, marking an essential step in the cathedral’s restoration project.
