In October 2023, Éric Girardin, MP for Marne, proposed a bill establishing an agricultural land investment group (GFAI), allowing external investors to collaborate with farmers for the acquisition of land. The text was included in the agricultural orientation bill, scheduled for debate in the National Assembly in February 2024.
