France Valley signs the global appeal against plastic pollution
In the run-up to the fourth round of negotiations on an international legally binding instrument to end plastic pollution (INC-4), 160 financial institutions representing $15.5 trillion in combined assets have signed the Finance Statement on Plastic Pollution.
France Valley is proud to be one of the signatories and to add its voice to that of the industry in making a strong call to governments for an ambitious agreement on plastics that supports the private financial sector in its action to end plastic pollution.
The Finance Statement on Plastic Pollution is a joint initiative of the UNEP Finance Initiative, the Principles for Responsible Investment, the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation, the Business Coalition (Ellen MacArthur Foundation/WWF), the Dutch Association of Investors for Sustainable Development (VBDO) and the CDP.
