To mark the Heritage Days, France Valley opened access to a site within the Bois des Hautes Bruyères, home to remarkable 100-year-old chestnuts, remnants of the food production management carried out by the Ladies of the Hautes Bruyères Priory, built in the twelfth century and demolished in 1794. The visit was organised by the Coignières History and Protection of Heritage and Environment association.
