Finland, a changing forest market

Finland derives its wealth from its forests and, more specifically, from its logging activities. The wood processing industry is extremely developed and accounts for around 7% of GDP, particularly since the last few months, when the price of wood has risen considerably. Finland now accounts for a quarter of our European investments. As at 31.05.2023, France Valley owned 27 forests over an area spanning more than 1,000 hectares.
