France Valley recently completed the acquisition of Tuulimäki Forest. Located in Finland, around 500 kilometres from Helsinki, this forest is a true natural gem. On site, the management team met with Professor Timo Pukkala, a world-renowned educator and researcher, to discuss the implementation of alternative forestry practices. With a diversity of remarkable species, generous peatlands, giant ants and rivers, France Valley’s management of this forest largely consists of creating a genuine biodiversity reserve for both wildlife and plants.
