GFI France Valley Patrimoine acquires its largest massif

GFI France Valley Patrimoine has announced the acquisition of its largest massif, Bourlémont Forest, which has an impressive surface area of more than 1,200 hectares.

Located in Vosges, a stone's throw from the village where Joan d'Arc was born, it consists mainly of mature stands dominated by beech and oak. In this forest facing multiple challenges, the Investment Forestry Group will conduct forestry aimed at improving its resilience to climate change. This goal will result in the enrichment of more resistant species in the current stands, coupled with careful monitoring of natural regeneration while maintaining the objective of achieving continuous forest cover. In short: major projects for an exceptional forest !
